Looking for pedagogical training and paid teaching experience? Looking to enhance your CV?  The University Writing Program is hiring for 2020-21 and welcomes grad student applicants from across the University.

The Writing Program at the University of Chicago is uniquely grounded in an approach to writing that considers the particular challenges of writing about complex, expert subject matter for a variety of readerships. Writing Program teaching positions do not require previous experience with our courses or previous experience teaching writing. Grad students working for the Writing Program benefit from training, supervision, and student evaluations, all valuable for teaching portfolios. Additionally, some positions may fulfill teaching requirements and/or provide tuition remission for students in select programs.

Application deadline: Monday, 10 February 2020, 5:00pm

Upcoming information session: Tuesday, 1/28, 10-11am in Stuart 330 (accessible via 3rd floor of Harper Memorial Library – turn left at the cafe and down the hall to the North Reading Room).
